The Montreat community’s annual Native Plant Sale and Arbor Day celebration on Saturday, April 29, 9 a.m.-2 p.m., features both an array of vendors offering quality plants, trees and gardening supplies and also several experts to address questions about yards and the natural landscape. Cooperative Extension’s Master Gardeners return to address plants and gardens, the North Carolina Forest Service will provide wildfire safety tips from the Firewise program, and new this year the N.C.
